 SIGNED GRANT WOOD "Grandma Mending" PENCIL/GRAPHITE SIGNED 1936 LITHO FOR "FARM ON THE HILL"   You are bidding on an a color lithographic proof print/of a Grant Wood illustration from a storybook titled "Farm On The Hill" written by Madeline Darrough Horn, that has been pencil/graphite signed by the artist and from a collection owned by the sister of the artist, Nan Wood Graham. Image size: 5" x  6 1/2" (inches) Sheet Size: 6" x 8" (inches). Grant Wood was a professor-in-residence at University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA; Madeline D Horn was the wife of another professor-in-residence at U. Of I. and was completing her childhood book "Farm On The Hill" and asked Grant Wood for various illustrations for each of her books chapters that was published in 1936. This lithographic print was printed by Charles Scribner's Sons of N.Y. and dates from the original print-art that was the property of the artist and came from a collection of memorabilia belonging to Nan Wood Graham, the artists sister. Although some 70 years old it remains in good condition with no noticeable defects.       Opening bid starts @ $.99. Good luck bidding!
