Tonella. The Horse mounted on a rosa quartz marble base, is one of three remaining pieces from the originally edition. The original sculpture was intricately created in wax and reconstructed using a 16 piece parts mold. Bronze cast in the lost wax method, each piece was carefully constructed and refined to perfection in metal chasing. The bronze surface of the sculptures is individually finished in a multi-color aged patina, with no two pieces the same. The bronze production of this piece was extremely complicated and the mold has been terminated, with no additional sculptures produced. Remarks: Limited Edition number 4 of 50.
