It is made by nuno felting fine merino wool with silk gauze and china silk. All the silk was hand dyed by me. Nuno felting is a process of taking a layer of silk and fusing it together with the merino wool. I like to actually paint with the wool and silk to come up with some wonderful creations then frame them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I love painting them. This is part of my Birch Tree series.
