(sorry this picture above is a little out of focus) Offered for sale is an 'oh-so-cute' novelty quilt called "Kiko's Kimonos". Quilt measures 49" wide by 49" long. It is machine made and beautifully machine quilted (by me, a long-time professional quilt designer!), and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging. What can I say?  This quilt is adorable!  It is a sample of my Kiko's Kimonos Pattern, made with 9 blocks to make a nice size for wall hanging or snuggle quilt for a special little girl.   Each of the blocks is a 3-dimensional kimono - the skirts lift off the surface of the quilt.  The fabric, in three different colors of pink, turquoise-blue and white, features little Asian girls in their kimonos.  The border fabric is this same fabric in black.   This quilt is beautifully free-motion quilted in a cherry blossom / sakura pattern.  All quilting is free-motion, with no marking. Gold colored threads were chosen to mostly blend with the colors in the quilt, providing a subtle detail seen mostly close up. The back is a combination of pink and asian fabrics.
